For this lab, we looked at thermal and multi-spectral analysis, focusing on how to interpret radiant energy. For the deliverable, we had the option of examining two different images, that of Pensacola Beach and Ecuador coastline. I went with the Ecuador coastline, in which I found a fire in the northeastern portion of the image. In order for the fire to visually stand out, I used a band combination of red 4, green 2, and blue 6. This way, areas of higher temperature appear in blue. This can be seen in the image provided.
