Due to having to work, I was unable to attend a GIS Day event. However, I ended up sharing my GIS experiences with co-workers. I was given a bewildered look when I stated Happy GIS Day to those around me. Since our company is global, I'm currently the only GIS person at our current office. Although the pipeline division is large in scope, it's spread out all over North America. So I ended up giving them a tour of ArcMap and just showing previous work within my blog. CAD and Trimble Business Center are mostly used by those around me, so it was interesting to present them with a different program. I can't say everyone was jumping with excitement but it was interesting to share it with others and give them another perspective.
