Open Source - Analyze 1 (GIS4930)

For the first portion of our Analysis into open source, we explored MapBox and Leaflet. MapBox is an interesting online open source GIS program. With the ability to add our own data, the previously created food desert and grocery store points were added along with a basemap. With a style created within MapBox, Leaflet let's us create an interactive map. The map itself is being hosted on the student server and can be accessed here. The map shows the food deserts for Escambia County along with the grocery store locations. A Geocoder is also present, which is a neat addition to search the area.
