Week 4 focused on enhancing cartography skills. The goal was to be able to successfully relay information to the user while also making the map aesthetically pleasing. I admittedly had a difficult time with this assignment. My issue came from keeping several layers not only visible but legible. The challenge came from assigning contrasting colors that way nothing blended together or became muddled. I was also having difficulty with the eDesktop. Possibly due to my poor internet speed, rarely was the screen clear, often having a very blurry appearance. There was also more delay than usual when using ArcGIS. These factors made finalizing the maps difficult. But for better or worse they are finished.
